County books singer for August concerts

A singer working to gain fame in the country music world has been signed to perform twice in Jefferson County in August.

John King, originally from Georgia, will appear August 16 in Whitehall and August 17 in Boulder. His most recognized songs so far have been “Tonight, Tonight,” and “I Still Pick Up.”

His appearances are part of an effort to promote Jefferson County, attract more tourism and elevate the area’s economy.
