The JHS Panther girls improved their record to 3-1 in conference, 6-2 overall, with wins over White Sulphur Springs and Sweet Grass County this past week.

In their first competition since the holiday break, the Panthers traveled to White Sulphur Springs Friday for a non-conference game. Leah Vossler started the game with back to back baskets and the Panthers rolled to a 16-0 lead at the end of one quarter with Aubrey McMaster, Ellie Evertz and Emily McGinnis all adding points.

The score increased to 22-0 with Haydin Henschel getting in the scoring book. A nice block by Vossler and an assist by Ashley Pankratz kept the Panthers building their lead. The first Hornet points came on a three with 1:07 left in the half. Lauryn Armstrong finished the half with a basket for the Panthers to make it 24-3, JHS.
