Winter sports get going this week with the Panthers hosting a wrestling mixer Thursday. Action starts at 6 p.m. in the north gym. Wrestlers then travel to Whitehall Friday and Saturday, with action starting at noon Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, then to Great Falls Central Dec. 20 for another two-day meet: start time is 11 a.m. Dec. 20 and 10 a.m. Dec. 21.
Panther basketball teams are in Three Forks Friday and Saturday for a large tournament. Friday, varsity girls play Twin Bridges at 11:30 a.m., JV boys play Anaconda at 2:30 p.m., JV girls play Twin Bridges at 4 p.m., and varsity boys play Fairfield at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, the varsity girls play Anaconda at 1 p.m., the varsity boys play Huntley Project at 2:30 p.m., JV girls play Anaconda at 5:30 p.m., and JV boys play Twin Bridges at 7 p.m.
The Panther hoopsters will be at Whitehall on Dec. 19. JV teams will play at 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and varsity teams will play at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; which times were for girls and which for boys hadn’t been determined at press time.
