Not guilty pleas entered for Gee

Two “not guilty” pleas were entered in Montana Fifth Judicial District Court in Boulder Nov. 13 on behalf of Tory Vincent Gee, the former Jefferson County inmate who escaped Oct. 11 and was apprehended a week later near Charlo in Lake County.

Gee, facing charges of escape and criminal mischief, appeared for his arraignment via an audiovisual connection from the Gallatin County Detention Center in Bozeman, where he has been held since shortly after his capture by U.S. Marshals.

After Gee told Judge Luke Berger that he had not spoken with his attorney, Berger told Gee he was entering “not guilty” pleas on his behalf “since you haven’t had a chance to talk to your attorney yet.”
