Almost a dozen volunteers gathered at Methodist Fellowship Hall in Boulder Nov. 8 to sew for “Days for Girls,” an effort to improve feminine hygiene for women and girls worldwide.
From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. that Friday, the volunteer crew assembled kits including washable, reusable sanitary supplies for those with no reliable access to the items.
Organizer Marilyn Craft said it was the fourth time they’ve gathered to work on the kits.
