Jefferson County’s office of Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) is requesting proposals from interested qualified parties for Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Awareness classes to be taught to the emergency responders of Jefferson County from January-April of 2020.  The County is seeking a consultant/firm to teach these classes for the County. The consultant/firm selected shall be qualified in the education of rural responders to the HAZMAT awareness level, following applicable grant requirements including working with volunteer and paid first responders, County and City/Town staff, and other members of the public.  Sealed proposals (3 copies for Jefferson County) must be received no later than Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. MST.  PROPOSALS NOT RECEIVED PRIOR TO THIS DATE AND TIME WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED AFTER RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD.  Proposals should be addressed to: Doug Dodge, Emergency Manager, Jefferson County DES, PO Box H, Boulder, MT 59632.  A complete copy of the Request for Proposal will be available online at: http://www.jeffersoncounty-mt.gov/DES.html, or contact Doug Dodge at des@jeffersoncounty-mt.gov.
