Hunger walkers

Participating in the Boulder area’s 23rd annual CROP Hunger Walk on Oct. 6 were, from left: (seated) Rhea Crelin, Mary Molitor; (standing) Rev. It was followed by an international-themed potluck at Boulder City Hall. Marilyn Craft said 12 walkers raised $895. Twenty-five percent of the money raised in Jefferson County benefits Jeffco Food Share. The remaining 75% will go to Church World Service, which sponsors the CROP Hunger Walk. The intent of the nationwide annual event is “Ending hunger one step at a time,” according to CROP Hunger Walk’s tagline.
