Escaped Jefferson County inmate caught in Lake County

The 27-year-old man who escaped from Jefferson County Detention Center late last Friday has been caught.

“Escaped inmate Tory Vincent Gee was apprehended today in Lake County Montana at approximately 2 p.m. in the afternoon,” wrote Jefferson County Sheriff Craig Doolittle in a news release. “The investigation into the escape is still ongoing and further information will be released as it becomes available.”

The Montana Standard is reporting that Gee was captured by the U.S. Marshals on a farm outside of Charlo.
