The 17th annual Jeffco Food Share “Be a Friend in Deed, Helping Those in Need” campaign is underway and continues through to the end of November. Jeffco Food Share is partnering with the Town Pump Charitable Foundation to raise $5,000 in matching funds. Collection points will be at the Boulder Town Pump and Lucky Lil’s. The Whitehall Library presents “Sweet Tea Tales” Oct. 17 at 1 p.m. “Pumpkins and Poetry” is the theme of this baking contest and book talk tea. To enter the contest make your favorite pumpkin recipe and bring the recipe and enough to share. Then everyone will vote on their favorite treat and the winner will receive a prize.
