Varsity volleyball plays two matches with mixed results

Last Thursday the Panthers traveled to Anaconda for non-conference matches. The C team won in three and the JV team won in three.

The young varsity team lost 14-25, 25-21, 10-25, 16-25 to a good Anaconda team. Dakota Edmisten led the Panthers with nine kills, sister Mykala added seven kills and two blocks, Kylie Marks led the Panthers with seven assists and Grace Alexander dug out 13 digs. As a team, the Panthers had two aces, 24 kills, seven blocks, 14 assists and 38 digs.

Saturday the Panthers traveled to Three Forks for their first conference counter. Always a great match between the two schools, the JV team lost in five games, the C team won in three and the varsity girls took care of business by winning in three, 25-16, 25-19, 25-21. The varsity Panthers had two aces, 25 kills, five blocks, 14 assists and nine digs. Mykala Edmisten had 14 kills, Dakota Edmisten six kills and three digs, Jadyn Bellander two blocks, and Emma Grange eight assists.
