As the month of July has ended, the busy schedule of prepping JHS for the coming school year continues. The custodial crew has been working diligently with cleaning, waxing and painting. The FCS room is currently being updated and remodeled, and the library has received new carpet. Additional security devices have been added to the main entrance points and the camera system has been updated.
Both gyms look great after refinishing, and the crew did an awesome job of painting and cleaning the weight room and wrestling room. Many of the classrooms, doors and door jambs have received much needed paint.
There continues to be upgrades in technology with the addition of laptops in all the math classrooms to go along with the existing portable carts. EdReady, a free supplemental math tutorial, will be available in the math classrooms to help with students with instruction and to bridge the gap of concepts that might not be understood.
