Both Johnson and Ruf are retiring and were honored with the Sharon Grace award they are holding. Formerly known as the Golden Apple Award -- an award for employees that are “champions of all things Clancy,” according to Clancy Elementary Superintendent Dave Selvig -- the award was renamed after Grace when she retired and received the award after working at Clancy Elementary for over 30 years. Johnson and Ruf worked at Clancy school for 21 and 41 years, respectively.
