Years later, the circus is coming to town

The Culpepper and Merriweather circus is coming to Boulder June 27— the first big top circus to visit in several years, according to Jefferson County Event Coordinator Bruce Binkowski — and will stop in Whitehall the day after.

“Everybody loves a circus,” Binkowski said. “It’s a great event for Boulder and Whitehall.”

In Boulder, the circus will perform in the lot next to the Boulder Bull Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. As sponsor, the fire department will be the beneficiary of a portion of the money raised at the event. The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Whitehall shows.
