Montana City kids create military care packages

Students at Montana City School recently collected almost 1,400 items — including gum, batteries, socks and sunscreen — that Student Council members assembled into care packages for delivery to active duty military personnel. Pictured at the April 25 packing party are student councilors, from left: (back row) Brady Armstrong, Jayden Johnson, Logan Todorovich, Bria Plant, Avery Kraft, Celi Chapman, Jeri Wilkerson, Morgan Knickerbocker, and Madi Todorovich; (front row) Maddox Maxwell, Brooke Eveland and Jamie Fessenden. “These donations are dedicated to all the military kids at our school who support their loved ones and sacrifice their time with them so they can serve in the armed forces protecting our freedom,” Student Council advisor Kari Holman said by email. “Thank you for being awesome kids with awesome families. Montana City School staff and students are all grateful for you and those you love who are serving in the military.”.
