Scott Alan Sherwood, Sr., Basin fireman

Scott Alan Sherwood, Sr., May 21, 1957-April 17, 2019, was adopted at birth by Paul and Dorothy Sherwood of Manhattan Beach California where he graduated from high school.

On March 29, 1986 he married the love of his life, Dawn Tamar Oliver. They lived in their home in Basin, Mt where Scott died. Shortly before his passing they celebrated their 33rd anniversary. Dawn and Scott, Jr. were at Scott’s side at his death. Scott was an extremely faithful husband and father. He faithfully kept his vow until death!

He was a part of the Basin Fire Department and was instrumental in developing First Responders in Basin as he was an EMT and served in Basin, Boulder, and Montana City. He had a passion for adventure and over the road driving which he passed on to his wife and children.
