Boulder Hot Springs again wins ‘green’ award

Boulder Hot Springs recently was awarded an Ecostar Pollution Prevention Award from Montana State University Extension’s Montana Pollution Prevention Program.

“It is awarded to Montana businesses that are preventing pollution and trying to lessen their carbon footprint,” Hot Springs staffer Kerri Kumasaka said by email. “Boulder Hot Springs has won the award for a number of years in a row, along with other businesses.”

The award recognizes businesses “taking environmentally responsible steps to reduce waste and maximize efficiency,” according to the MUS Extension website.
