The month of February is behind us, one full of plenty of snow, extreme cold and school events. The month included the state wrestling and District, divisional and State basketball tournaments, as well as school plays and local events.
JHS qualified a handful of wrestlers and Leo Anderson made it on the award stand placing 4th at 103 pounds. Congratulations to all the wrestlers, coaches, cheerleaders and parents for another great year. The program continues to grow and I look for great things in the future.
The winter basketball season concluded as well with the Panthers boys and girls competing in Districts and the boys qualifying for the Southern B divisional tournament. The boys finished 3rd in a competitive 5B District. Again, congratulations to all the players, coaches, cheerleaders, band and parents. The Booster Clubs continued support of all JHS events is greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your time, talents and support of student participants at JHS.
