First week “like the running of the bulls,” says Rep. DeVries

The first week of the 2019 Session of the Montana Legislature “felt something like I imagine the running of the bulls to be — with me in the back,” freshman legislator Rep. Greg DeVries (R, HD-75) said by email Saturday.

“I might call it ‘the running of the bills,’” he added.

The schedule for his first week as a legislator included five hearings for two of the three committees he serves on — Judiciary and Education — and “some final training.”
