In uncertain times, he gave the best advice

“Grace, as in Amazing…” If you knew our father you probably heard this a time or two. He had a great sense of humor and liked to joke with everyone. He enjoyed spending time with people and seeing the people he cared about with smiles on their faces. 

Everyone will have a different memory pop into their head when they think of John, but the odds that it’s humorous are very high. It has been a tough year for his kids and family, but the special memories we hold in our hearts help us continue on. 

For Ashley, one of those memories is when she needed to get new tires for her car — and Dad disconnected some wiring so she couldn’t drive it. To this day, no one can figure out what he disconnected, or how to fix it.
