Jefferson County added two more COVID-19 cases Thursday, Oct. 22, but were able to move five people to the recovered list, giving public health nurses time to catch their breath, according to Department of Public Health Clinic Coordinator Molly Carey. 

The two new cases pushes the cumulative total to 153, with 124 having recovered from the virus. 

The age group with the most infections currently are those ages 60-69 with 11 cases, followed by seven in the 50-59 age range. Three people are currently hospitalized, but so far, Jefferson County has not experienced a death due to COVID-19 since the virus arrived in Montana in March.
