JHS Trustees to seek voter input on improvements

A recent building condition report recommended creating a new space for the drama and theater department due to conflicts with athletics schedules in the south gym.

The Jefferson High School Board of Trustees is planning to mail a survey to district registered voters asking their opinion on potential improvements to the school. 

The options will be based on the results of a recent building condition report completed by SMA Architects. 

The Trustees discussed providing three options, with the least expensive being improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, such in the restrooms, locker rooms and the art and band classrooms.
