Basin Water/Sewer Board addresses concerns

Frank Watson, with microphone, said he used to be on the Basin Water and Sewer District Board, and suggested the system needed a “pressure test” to show where the leaks were located before the District spends any more money. Nick Clos with Montana Rural Water, who is assisting the district with its improvement plan, said that a pressure test would fail because the valves in the curb stops are failing and leaking already. Because so many at the meeting did not wear face masks per Gov. Steve Bullock’s order, the next meeting will be held on Zoom, according to Chairperson MJ Williams. (Diana McFarland/Boulder Monitor).
