Robert Scrimsher, 84, of Jefferson City

Robert Scrimsher of Jefferson City passed away on Jan. 26, 2025 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was 84.

Bob was born on November 21, 1940 in Jerome, Idaho. He was adopted by Tracy “Perle” and Erma Scrimsher at the age of three, and was the oldest of seven siblings in his adopted family.

Bob worked on several of his family’s ranches, in Dillion, Harrison, and Big Timber. He was called to serve in Vietnam and was a proud veteran. Upon returning home, Bob met his wife Fay VanderVoort in Big Timber, and they were wed on June 2, 1968. The couple welcomed three children into their home.
