Incumbent trustees voted back in office

Incumbents Larry Rasch and Elizabeth Ferriter defeated challengers to return to their seats on the Jefferson High School and Montana City School boards of trustees. 

Rasch, of Clancy, defeated Sarah Brown, earning 1,465 votes to her 763, according to Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder Bonnie Ramey.

With 2,520 ballots received in that race, Rasch won with 58 percent of the vote. There were 14 write-ins, five who voted for more than one candidate, and 273 who did not vote for either candidate, according to Ramey.
