10 years on, Boulder gift shop closes

After more than a decade working together, Gift Box co-owners Sally Buckles and Betty Charlton have reached the point where they occasionally finish each other’s sentences.

“We were doing the music event at Veterans’ Park,” said Sally, thinking back to September 2015 when the idea first took shape.

“I’d do the quilting and baby stuff and Sally had her jewelry and jams,” said Betty.
